Electronic Eyeglasses: Only A Few Months Away

PixelOptics has announced that it hopes to release its new electronic glasses in the second half of 2010.  These new electronic lenses will be marketed under the trademark, emPower. The company promises that if you wear bifocals or progressive lenses, their new electronic glasses will revolutionize the way you see and use your eyeglasses.

Here are some of the fascinating features about the new emPower electronic glasses:

 1. They will provide vision correction for all ranges of sight: close-up, midway, and far distance.

 2.  These new electronic eyeglasses will give the user the choice of three different modes of operation. Most users will probably want to use the automatic mode. But the glasses will also have a manual mode, and a manual off mode.

 3.  PixelOptics state that their new electronic lenses will be able to focus as fast as a person can blink their eyes.

 4. These revolutionary new eyeglasses will also provide an invisible electronic near-focus zone that users can use when they desire. The near-focus zone will be especially useful for reading, sewing, and other tasks that require a close focal range. At the same time, the near-focus zone can be turned off at anytime.

 5. The new emPower glasses will provide wider fields of vision than that offered by progressive lenses. Not only that, the user will experience less distortion than they would with a progressive lens.

 6. These electronic glasses are powered by a tiny, hidden rechargeable battery.

Keep checking back with us.  We will place an announcement on our site once these electronic eyeglasses reach the market.
